i've lived here at bella vista (aka napa valley) for over a year now, and i can honestly say i'm ready to leave. it hasn't be a horrible experience, but it hasn't been an experience worth my money. my roommate and i moved in last summer, and right away i had a problem. when signing the lease papers, there's a page that asks whose name(s) and number(s) need to be placed in the call box at the front gate; both of us put down our names and numbers, however, only my roommate's name ended up in it, and i had to go back and give them my info again so they could accomplish this seemingly minor task. from that moment i've had nothing but issues with management's decision to completely ignore me and only tend to my roommate's needs, even though BOTH of our names are on the lease. at one point, my roommate was on a week long vacation to costa rica, and shortly after she left for her trip, SHE got a letter in the mail from management. i thought it was a bit odd, but i left it for her. when she got back, she read the letter and asked "why didn't they send it to the both of us' if it had been something important, and i wasn't able to get to it, how would you know what's going on'" i was extremely irritated. most of the time i just want to march down to the office and ring their necks. they're inconsiderate, rude, unintelligent, dishonest, and just plain annoying. management is the reason i want to move. as for the apartment itself' beautiful! i love our apartment, the complex is very well taken care of, and its location is perfect in my opinion (near shopping, food and gas, but out of the way and not too close to the craziness of the city). if you don't mind dealing with the morons in the office, and are just looking for a decent place to live (a decent place with an admittedly rising cost), then i guess check it out and make your own decision. as for me' i'm out as soon as my lease up.
