I moved in to the apartment 7 months ago. The space is a good deal for the rental price. The managers are overzealous and make up rules that you must follow or you get a lot of letters, fees, and big warning stickers on your car. There is plenty of parking, but I couldn't take advantage of it because they won't allow people with out of state license plates to park in the spaces, so I had to park on the street. Wouldn't you know it, my car got hit by a drunk driver because it was parked on the street! Another rule is that you can't park backwards in your stall. They are very knit-picky.
On a positive note, the grounds are clean, the apartment is very quiet(mostly because I think they try to kick out people with kids), and close to a walkway on the wash. I don't know if I would live here again, but it's all we could afford.

I'm a reisdent of The Pines, and I am appalled by your comment. The Pines is a wonderful, quiet, clean, and safe community to live in. Management is the reason why it is the way it is, because they care enough to enforce the terms of the lease that all of us sign, and agree to abide by before we move in. I have personally lived in a complex where the rules were not enforced, and the place frankly speaking turned into a slum within a matter of months. If I have to follow a few simple rules, and register my car within the state I LIVE IN as an honest person would do to live in such a beautiful, safe environment, then wow that sure speaks volumes about your charactoer, doesn't it.

The managers are pretty knit picky. And I also believe they don't want children living here. But overall it's a nice quiet place to live. Maintenance issues are taken care of in a timely manner. It could be a lot nicer if they took it up a notch. Is a ceiling fan in the masterbedroom to much to ask for? Or a gym that isn't crammed with play huts.
