Complex hasn?t been able to enforce the handicapped parking. Security at night is ?drive through?. In 10 months there has been a number of vandelism and break-ins to the gym and mail box areas.
Because of vandelism and break-ins, if you have mail to be sent, the tenant goes inside the office and gives it to the staff (where accountability and confidentiality are-again-compromised). USPS never delivers packages directly to the tenant. They are signed for by the office staff w/ a note left in your mailbox.
Tenants must sign a ?waiver of rights? regarding any damage to person or property resulting from golf balls going astray off the course immediately next to the complex. Tenant must release the complex-and the owner?s of the golf course-from any responsibility by agreeing to waive their rights to seek compensation for personal or property injury. These ?waiver of rights? (and mail box procedures are presented to the tenant after they?ve ?been accepted? by the complex and have submitted non-refundable deposits. The tenant is told of this while signing ?all the paperwork?.
There is a $250.00 cleaning fee paid by the prospective tenant-up front. The tenant pays this fee before they get to review the results of the cleaning.
Discs for Direct TV, etc., cannot be placed on any of the complex?s property. This is information that is given to a resident after the purchase, or on a ?need to know? basis. The rule isn?t enforced either.
During the summer, cockroaches come out at night (esp. outside) by the thousands! They are a problem, even upstairs, inside the apartments also. Pest Control does a very quick walk through when called. Pest Control is only notified when the office receives ?4 separate complaints from different tenants?!
I can?t recommend Player?s Club. The cost of living here (supposedly an upscale complex)doesn?t reflect the value. The rent at the complex is overpriced (no less than $100-150/month) compared to other properties with the same-or better-amenities in the area.
You?re also charged a supplemental fee on top of the rent for water (Currently $18.00).
And pet rent is $25.00/month as long as the tenant resides at the complex! (Just how much damage can a declawed, house broken feline do'). Other complexes only charge a one time rent fee, no matter how long the residence resides.
