"The Henderson man who shot and killed himself after setting his apartment on fire last week has been identified as 58-year-old Jovo Dabic. Henderson dispatchers received simultaneous calls of a fire at the Remington Canyon apartments, 1000 American Pacific Drive, near Gibson Road, and a man waving a gun on his balcony of the same complex at 2:05 p.m. April 23. Dabic shot himself in the head soon after officers arrived, Henderson police said. Fire investigators believe he started several fires, which forced the evacuation of the building. Dabic's apartment suffered severe fire damage, and other apartments suffered water and smoke damage."

At least one TV reporter stated there were reports Dabic was distressed over being unable to pay his rent after losing his job a couple weeks earlier. At 58 that's rough. I wonder why staff didn't work it out with him. Perhaps they wanted insurance money' I am not a renter there and never will be. It's a good area but that place is in industrial section and obviously poorly run.

How can you write an review and you don't live at these apartments?? How do you know that managment didn't try to work with this guy?? Rough situation or not, he put other people's lives in danger. Mangement shouldn't be blamed for this horrible incident. This occurence isn't reflective of how it is to live at these apartments.

Do you live there? Did you ever live there? Things and accidents happen everywhere. are you not going to the hospital because someone dies there 2 seconds before you enter? there is only so much mgmt can do legally want insurance money? you must be an idiot because the property never prospects from any negative situations. you are a hater!!! renters still go there and past residents like ourselves still refer people there. you are ridiclous. not poorly run!!! people have their own issues and you obviously do to. give Remington a chance you willl not be unhappy.
