I live here and I have had nothing but problems here. I have been in my apartment for 3 years and we have changed property managers more then 6 times now. The last one has only been here for 3 months and is now gone. My washer had stopped working and I called the manager and he sent maintenance down and they stayed 5 minutes and listened to it and heard nothing then left. So we had the problem again and I called and he sent them back they only wanted to wait 5 minutes again and my wife made them sit on the floor and listen to the whole cycle till they heard the noise. They told us that we would have a new washer by the end of the day, instead they gave us one from a different unit and that one doesn't work right either. The gates have worked 5 times since we have lived here and they changed the system and they still don't work. I have paid my rent on time and now they are telling me that I have all these late fees, when I shouldn't have any. This place is nothing but total bull and if I were able to I would have moved out of this place by now. So the best piece of advice I can tell you is NOT to move into any of the nevadaHAND property groups.

we live at a nv hand property and have so many problems. the washer broke down twice, the refrigerator freezes everything you can thing of on all three shelves, the freezer burns all the food, and we have had an exchange of the fridge from another unit and it is the same problem. there are people living in the 55 complex under the guise of caretakers that are unqualified and they create many problems for the qualified residents. for the most part they are in their 30,s and teenagers that drink and any number of other activities that one will read about or see on the evening news, they do not belong in our community and when you report this activity you are considered a complainer and this causes additional work for the office staff.i received a letter from an attorney that represents the corporation basically telling me and my 65 yr. old roommate to be quiet and deal with it. i am a disabled 59 yr old person with a service dog and i have stage 3 breast cancer. i have nearly been run over by a teenager who lives in this 55 community, i seen the dr. each week for the injury i sustained and today received a letter telling my roommate and i this boy on the bike does'nt exist.i have 5 residents that will attest to this another unqualified teenager on a bike, nearly running down a senior, a disabled person and a service dog. we have had in ten days 4 injuries to the elderly because of where they walk their dogs, the outer perimeter of complex. the terrain is rocky,uneven, wires to support the trees and stakes that wre unmarked UNTIL a 80ish yr old lade fell over an unmarked wire and cut into her leg badly.we as residents, live with verbal threats, "you can move if you don,t like the way we manage, and where do you go at our age, our disabilities, our fixed income, and the limited apts. in the las vegas area. easier said than done.
