This is an OK community, the landscaping isn't anything special, there is dog poo everywhere (which is to be expected in a very pet friendly community). Average amount of noise.
First of all, this is a gated community... the gate is open 10 hours out of the day, and is constantly breaking down. It's not worth it to pay extra for the "gate".
The only HUGE problem was mold EVERYWHERE, in our apartment (not sure about any of the others) it is unusually humid, and mold will grow on anything that touches water. Pet water bowls (even though they are lined with micro-ban), dish racks, the washing machine, inside and outside of the refrigerator, showers, sinks, counter tops, floors, underneath the sinks, in the toilet, vases... All of my bathroom knicknacks got ruined by mold. If it has water in or on it, it will grow mold... quickly sometimes in a matter of hours. I was doing a lot of ridiculous cleaning, it just became not worth living here anymore. I should have never signed a lease to this place. Sirens were going off in my head when they made me sign a mold form stating that it was my responsibility to clean it up. Silly me, I thought it was a fluke, because this is such a dry climate... mold doesn't normally grow here. I have never had an apartment with this much mold growing in it, even in places with 100% humidity for most of the year.

I'm intrigued by your review as I've recently noticed it feeling humid in my unit. I've noticed that the windows are fogged up after a shower and stay that way for hours. This does seem weird being in the desert. I rent from an owner and there was no mold form with my lease. I'm curious if the developer might be aware of plumbing issues and that's why they have their renters sign that form . . . What unit or at least what building were you in? Thanks and good luck!
