I moved in 2 1/2yrs. ago and my move-in was a disappointment. I thought it was because they let me move in 1 day early that things weren't cleaned and the paint spray was everywhere!! The carpet has stains from previous tenants that I hope will be replaced this year. The Office staff & mgmt. are constantly changing -usually for the worst. BUT since August this year we now have living on-site mgmt and he is very good so far at cleaning up the past mgrs. messes. We still could use security, but Ryan has cleaned up the bad grass, calmed the pool and fitness area (altho using the fitness room is now limited due to recent vandalisms). I think he would do more for overall maintenance and security if the owners would increase the budget, but the owners seem to be only interested in getting their money most of the time and not caring what the long term tenants want.
The apt. itself is spacious and very quiet and comfortable. The only noise is the obnoxious neighbors who are inconsidersate about how loud they talk outside or their children running around like on a school playground. The children that were driving many of us crazy are pretty much moved out. Since this is a quieter community it is hard when unsupervised, loud children move in or older tenants live their lives out loud and outside. The dogs being left on porches seem to be never ending and people not picking up after their dogs as well. Thanks to new mgmt. we now have mitts available and more locations, but it doesn't seem to be the answer.
Overall I plan to continue living here because I really love my apt and the location. I feel very safe in the large neighborhood walking even at night. I do have a larger dog (anything over 20lbs is considered large)so affordable apt. complex options are few.
Overall I would recommend living here if you want a nice place to call home; but like all homes it has its problems.
