I have lived in this complex for nearly a year. I have to say that yes we have our share of problems teenagers and parties, summertime of course. There are problems with tenants who don?t pick up their dog mess. There are also people who don?t understand that this is an apartment building there is going to be some noise etc with a lot of people and dogs in a small area. Oh by the way as for convenience couldn't be better. Walmart is across the street in walking distance as is Food for Less, Panda Express, Circle K, Hollywood Video, Quiznos, Little Caesars, Ace Hardware, Taco Bell, A Catholic church, KFC., Arby's, Sonic, a nail salon, a Supercuts, a Payless Shoe Source and the Elementary school is a short walk too. There is also a Private school across the street that goes to 12th grade I believe. The maintenance staff is awesome! They have a lot on their plates here there is constantly something to take care of and they are friendly with all of the residents. Whenever I drive into the complex and see any of the guys they always smile and wave. They know all the children and are kind to them. As a matter of fact there is one in particular that all the kids know by first name and he also knows the pets of everyone and shows them attention as well. This community IF YOU ARE A PART OF IT is a kind of like a family. If you stay long enough. I would mostly say yes it is loud well there are lots of kids. Generally I think if you feel someone is too loud here a knock and plea is all thats needed. The pool is 24hrs sometimes it gets a little dirty in summer when people forget to rinse off before getting in and go in slathered with suntan lotion. I think they should probably keep the bathrooms open at the rear pool because if you have children you will be hassled to go back home each time to use the bathroom. The problem seems to be with many people who don?t even live here I have noticed. The murder by the way was a domestic violence case and I am not sure you don?t find that even in the best of neighborhoods. Lets face it the area is not the most prestigious. The prices of these places are not too bad and if you are a dog lover they are more then happy to welcome your pets of all breeds and sizes with open arms. As for letting your childern outside I beg to differ. I have two young children 3 and 5 and they are constantly outside. There is always a parent with a watchful eye somewhere and the older ones look out for the yournger ones. I have myself had more than a half dozen kids from the complex in my apartment at once. I think for the most part the office staff is pretty cool. You know they even supply the air filters for the hvac systems in your apt I would expect to change that personally like light bulbs. They usually don?t bother you unless you are against some guideline and by the way the thing about lockouts is clearly in the paperwork you sign when you move in. As far as these people having a key to the apartment you?ve got to be kidding me To be honest I think it makes me feel safer the last people I would suspect are any of the maintenance staff. This complex is diverse and knowing who wrote the last review that may be part of this persons issue. There are all kinds here making for a great community. There are many races, ages, income levels, educational backgrounds, etc. I am always greeted with a smile and a wave from most of the tenants here and I think it really has to do with attitude. I do think possibly the managment could have a better security program for the summertime which is when we there are a lot of seasonal people and rowdy teens. I also think that maybe video surveillance of the pool area would be a good idea. I also think that the restrooms should always be open at both pools. I don?t like going to the fitness room and not being able to use the restroom either. By the way attempted rape in the fitness room''' What are you doing there alone after office hours and without some kind of protection. I would expect that a woman in this day and age would be cautious whenever she is alone and prevent herself from being a victim. These things can happen anywhere! I lived in a prestigious neighborhood where a woman was victim of attempted rape right in her own garage in broad daylight, one of my employees was kidnapped from a mall parking lot in broad daylight in the same area. It happens no matter where you are so you have to just be aware because it is not up to the apartment owners to babysit grown adults!! O by the way they recently opened another self defense studio in the shopping area across the way for anyone who doesn't want to be a victim. All I can really say is when our families ahve visited from California they thought the place was nice all things considered. The problems really seem to be a summertime issue for the most part and where is thet not the case' I have never felt nervous or unsafe walking here alone at night even at 1 or 2 am.

Well you totally contradict yourself. First you are talking about using the workout room after dark and say a woman this day and age would be cautius to prevent this from happening. However later you say you never felt nervous or unsafe walking here alone at night, even 1 or 2 am. Maybe you should take your own advice.
