Actually the owner has put in an application to convert the apartments to condominiums for sale, but the city of Henderson hasn't approved it yet. The owner has agreed to honor everyone's lease and will not force anyone to move prior to their lease expiration date. We are continuing to offer 12 month leases (for new move-ins and renewals)and these leases will be honored. Villa Serena is a great community and many people have already showed interest in purchasing. Not everyone agrees that condos are worth their prices these days but for many people a condo is the way to go. If Villa Serena Apartments is converted to condos I will miss it here very much but no one can say it's not one of the best communities around. As far as construction goes it's not any better or worse than any other apartment community built by AG Spanos (and there are many nationwide). The property is a well maintained quiet place to live and most residents who live here like it better than any other community they've lived at.
