They do not adequately, if at all, spray the grounds for the big, huge cockroaches we have in Las Vegas. The cockroaches come under the doors, out of the overflow pipes in the tub, up out of the drains, and through the holes in the walls where the pipes come out. I spend a lot of money on bug spray. During one shower a roach fell on the foot of a family member after coming out of the tub overflow pipe.

I have been here almost four years, Four years ago the property was nice. Before I signed my last lease I was told the mailroom door would be fixed, they would spray the grounds for bugs and wash windows when someone moves out. The mailroom door was fixed, in part. It still comes open if not slammed shut. In the past, we have had someone go into the mailroom 3 times and steal the mail. I have never, since I have lived here, seen one window washed except that which a resident can reach.

The walls seem thin. I could hear the people walking around upstairs at 2:30AM, when they were getting ready for work. In the kitchen, when they walked around the ceiling creaked. I actually called building and safety to see if the building was safe. Visitors have asked how I could stand it. I hear the alarm clock go off next door and know how many times they hit the snooze alarm. Their bed must be on the same wall as mine.

The property changed hands last year. Now, they permit large and small dogs. The dogs relieve themselves in the area outside my patio and few pick it up. Children play in that area. I don't know if the health department would care. I watch, very carefully, where I walk. I had an unleased dog jump on my white clothes.

The garages here are not attached, Recently, I rented one for a few months. Rent $95.00 a month with a $50. deposit for the door opener. The deposit was supposed to be refundible. When I gave up the garage and ask for my $50.00 I was told it would not be refunded until the end of my lease. My contract says I do not have to pay aa security deposit because I am a senior. Then I was told that I would get half it because I was such a good tenant; I didn't even get that. I wrote requesting it and telling about my no security position and I did not even receive the courtesy of a reply. I know of people that looked at two apartments here. There were dead bugs in both so they rented in a new complex, close by.

There are signs on both entrances, offering a $200.00 deposit for referrals. Who would give a referral since the change in management' Not I. No one used to have to pay for referrals. I will be moving when my lease expires. The maintenance crew are pleasant, courteous gentlemen. The 3 of them have to make repairs on the 475 apartments. I am certain they do their best.

Since there are no attached garages through which to enter the apartment, we must walk on the driveways which are asphalt. We get that on our shoes and track it in on the carpet. When we sign our lease, we can get the carpets cleaned free. At other times, I pay $50. It needs it after two or three months, depending on how many people there are in the house. I remove my shoes when entering the apartment. The carpet cleaners they hire cleans three rooms in a few minutes. The records were l2 minutes and 8 minutes.

There should be more speed bumps on the streets. Some cars race through here. At times, children play in the streets.

The rent below includes a garage that I still have. I pay $80.00 for my garage because I have been here a while. When a family member moved out of her apartment, in this complex, management kept $20.00 of her deposit because she had not emptied a pan. They did not say what pan. (maybe a refrigerator pan that many people do not know is even there.) Who knows. I can't help but wonder if everyone gets a deduction. That was not on any list of things to be done.

Thank you.
