My girlfriend and I have lived here for 3 years and things have just gone downhill. The office staff is completely incompetent. You can call about a problem and get the runaround about how you need to talk to somebody else. Maintenance borders on non-existent, even involving serious problems that can cause health issues. You would be better off biting the bullet and pay a handyman to come out and do the job right. If you're a cat lover, then this is the place for you. There are dozens of stray cats that continue to multiply, while the manager sits by ands says there is nothing they can do. It's especialy great in the summer when the sun heats up all the cat feces and urine surrounding the property and puts a nice aroma in the air. But don't worry, they have the resources to pay for new flowers that the neighborhood kids mess up. Great place for kids too, random people hanging out on couches in front of their garages and in common areas drinking and being loud at all hours. Also, dont keep valuables in your car. My girlfriend had her car broken into twice and stolen once. But there's a Courtesy Partol and gates that don't work, with a keypad full of somebodys drink.

You should contact the owners. Milestone Management. They are based in Arizona. Maybe there is strength in numbers? This is a new management co, so I'm sure they have no idea just how lacking their manager is. I don't think maintenance is the problem. They can only complete what management allows. They can only order parts when management allows.
Stray cats are a problem everywhere, but they can get animal control involved if they wanted to. It's always wise to never keep valuables in your care no matter where you live. That's common sense. Security can't be everywhere all the time. As for the gates, yep, that's another failure of effective management. So is the one pool for almost 500 units. I could go on and on about my own personal experiences with this manager, and her lies, but I'm not going to be heard until tenants come together. For now, lemonade and luaus seem to be more important than the genuine concerns of the existing tenants. I suggest you move out or tell the owners that you will move. Get other tenants involved too. Start a petition.

OMG! Me and my husband lived in AG for 1 year until we bought our house. The comment about the cats is too funny! Our buliding faced the freeway, and yes, we always had the strays around! And the people across from us, had 4 adults, 4 (teenage kids) and 2 HUGE dogs and one cat living there, It was disgusting. You are also right about the people hanging out outside their garages, with loud music. My car was also broken in to. Stereo and a cd case full of cd's gone! The one good thing about the property is the landscaping was always kept clean. That's all. I would look elsewhere.
