My husband and I moved in to Alexander Gardens back in April and everything seemed fine at first. Our apartment had a few problems, but they had maitenance come over and fix them at first. I started to run the dishwasher and I noticed I had water leaking everywhere, the pump was broken and my carpet behind the dishwasher was soaked. They came and replaced it and then ripped up a section of my carpet and took out that section of padding. They then gave us this huge fan to dry it and said they would come back in a couple of days. When they came back, they just put some new padding down and laid the carpet back on top. You can see where they cut it up. We then started noticing bugs in the kitchen. They called them waterbugs....but they are cockroaches!!!! They sprayed a little but it didn't help. I finally just called Orkina and I'm paying for them to come out every other month to spray. The cockroaches are all over outside, it is horrible!!!! They crawl underneath the front doors because they aren't sealed right and the sliding glass doors. The maitenance guy just told me to go to Home Depot and get the sealing stuff to put under the door. Wow, what a real help. Our first rent check was also lost. We had mailed it because we weren't at home when it was due. I got it sent overnight and it had to be signed for. We go over there a week later to ask about it and they said that they never got our rent check, but the mailman did deliver something for else there in the office. It was addressed to them, not us. What incompentant morons! The lady that runs this place is so rude and nonhelpful. She asked my husband why we even excepted this apartment. Well, we didn't know we had a choice. If it was so bad, then why did you give it to us. The drive through gates are always broken, they have been for weeks now. That is oh so safe. The pools have not been open either. They said that they would be open in May. That was a bunch of bs! I hate living here! Do not move here! I can't even go outside at night without being attacked by cockroaches! This place should be condemned!

SO TRUE ABOUT THE ROACHES! I was afraid to take my dog out once it was dark because the sidewalk was always covered in roaches. And Im not surprised they lost your rent check- I had Fed Ex deliver a package to the office for me. Office staff signed for it. When I came to get it they said they never received any package for me. It took them THREE WEEKS to find my package. After they FINALLY found it and I went to get it, the girl gave me a bunch of attitude about it!

Oh hunny you don't want the pools to open. A Pamela Anderson look a like was getting it on with her man in the one furthest from the office... in daylight while my 2 year old was playing in the park.

I've lived here in Alexander Gardens for 6 going on 7years. I would have to agree the new management is like trailer trash - it was great when I first moved in. However ever time management changes the place and quality of people - it goes down. I can't say that it has always been this bad or an unsafe place to reside, or I would have left a long time ago. I do have a few issues (1) the maintenance you can't trust - but love the new handsome 1 driving the cart who seems to be Latin with his curly hair in the ponytail - Sorry I'm single! Nevertheless he always speaks. I requested my garbage disposal to be fixed for it has a hole in it over 3 months ago - To this day it hasn't been done and I've been told several times the request has been submitted - I didn't do so in writing so I blame myself but getting tired of the smells and having to ditch the water rapidly. (2) I have seen the roaches/ants, not so much in my apartment at times but have seen them outside which they can squeeze their little @sses in the cracks of the doors/patios/window, dishwasher etc. They can fix that if you complain with the State of Nevada, etc. (3) They allow these young losers to move in who bring all their friends as if they're selling drugs all hours of the f#cking night with their loud music in their cars, beer drinking skanks who leave their bottles and condoms/used lipstick by my car - Who always seem to set off my car alarm for attention just to get me to run outside until I had to threaten to tase their sorry @sses. (4) What I find to be the most problem is the security gate and not having a proper system to pay rent. The gate is always open/broken, damaged - What security is it in that? The people trash it; damage it and let us not forget the electronic box where you can t enter your code or utilize your key due to some jerk damaging it every time it looks to be ok to use. The mailboxes are always tampered, why when most people don't send cash or food stamps in the mail anymore - So my guess they're looking for credit cards or personal info which lead me to open a PO Box and have everything sent there. The drop box for rent is always set on fire and the lack of a 5-day wait for rent is ridiculous. (5) I hate the fact that I have to go out in the heat or cold to wash my d@mn clothes because the washer/dryer is on the patio ?? Who ever designed this place should be fired! Overall my time here has been great, not spectacular due to the terrible neighbors and residing here 6yrs ?? I??ve seen quite a bit, but great and I totally understand your anger and frustration for a lot more should be done to eliminate such headaches. In reference to the pool event in front of your child ?? You??re better than I for I would have covered my child ears and gave them a piece of my mind. However I myself plan to leave next summer due to the listed issues. This is like the 3rd management that has been here and it was fine in early 2004 ?? back then the staff actually treated you with respect as a tenant and resolved issues immediately - Even the openly homosexual guy in the office was the sweetest ever, but he's gone and so has the quality of living. My advise is to keep your head up and know that trouble of any kind doesn??t last always ?? TenantBldg10

It hasn't gotten better either since I have posted this. My air conditioner broke and it took them two days to come and fix it after numerous phone calls to the office. I can't wait to move!
