In the Ghetto Outskirts

I have lived here for a little over a year, and have seen absolutely NOTHING here that would make me recommend this apartment complex to anyone.
Management doesn't address the concerns of residents properly, and the employee turnaround here is simular to a retail store. Every time I walk in to the office to pay my rent, there is someone new working there. The customer service is decent, but when it comes right down to it, nothing gets solved in a timely fashion. The Maintenance here is an absolute JOKE. The Maint. supervisor is married to the Manager, which explains why the much of the complex dislike living here. Is something doesn't get done, the Manager isn't going chastise her husband!
3 swimming pools on the property, and at least one of them has ALWAYS been closed. Much of the time, two of them have been closed.
MANY children floating unsupervised on the property, starting fights with other kids, and vandalizing.
You can typically see a Police cruiser here three to four times a week.
Mailboxes get broken into about once every two months or so.
The front gate is typically broken, making life difficult. Also, the Security Patrol doesn't ease anyones mind. In the 16 months I have lived here, there have been four different Security companies.
The only reason I stay, is because it is close to work for me. I intend on moving as soon as I find a good house.
Overall recommendation: Don't live within 3 miles of here. Outskirts of the ghetto, along with loud, unsupervised children = Problems.

I agree. I was a resident here from August 1999 to June of 2000. From September of 1999 until May of 2000 or a.c/heating unit did not work. Jose the maintenance guy came over and thought he fixed it but put our heater on emergency heat which mae my power bill for December 1999 $200.00. We had a fireplace but you can't keep it running over nite. Then we had to haggle with the office because they kept talking about permission to enter. My boyfriend had said they could go in when he was at work but they never showed up. They tried to say they never got permission but I guess they just did not want to fix the problem. After that was straightened out, it turned out the office people had never gotten the work order, so again no one showed up. When they finally got an outside company to look at the unit, it turned out to be the breaker. We had to endure all of winter and part of the spring without heat or a.c because of the maintenance and mgmt incompetence. The problem with the kids was still here too. One tenant had to wait four months to get a window fixed that some kid had broken. They were at the office complaining like I was.

I have lived here for 6 months and I can't wait untill my lease is up to move out. I agree with all the comments that they say about this property. First maintenance totally sucks and it is a joke, things never get fixed, when you first move in they charge you a cleaning fee but the apartment that you choose is not clean because they only have one cleaning lady for the whole property, they bill you for rent and water and don't know there accounting, I tried to talk to the manager about and have it corrected to be able to pay my rent and utility on time but the manager Francis never answers yours call or runs from the problems. The leasing consultants either don't give her the messages and they themselfs never call you back like told. My AC in the summer took two months before it got fixed right and that's because I called the property management of the place. One of my cars got stolen and the other one got broken into. They say they have security, but I have never seen them walking around or driving around especially at night. There probably sleeping or it's a bunch of bull that they have security. And yes they have the same security code. They want to charge you for late fees when in the first place the manager don't take the time to bill right the first time and don't want to resolve it, but they want to charge you late fees and don't even calculate those right either. I don't know what kind of management classed she has taken or accounting, but it would be a good idea to have her investigated on her backround to see if she is able to stand her title she stands. I can say so many things about this place, but I would never finish. So for all of you that think about moving in here think twice and go to a better place where they will appreciate your business!
