We have had our water shut off 6 times in less than 6 months. We are never notified when the water will be shut off. The last time, on 8/21/07, the water was off for almost 5 hours. It was shut off around 8:30 PM. When we complained to the assistant manager the next morning, her response was we do not have to tell you when the water is going to be shut off. All they care about is getting the rent money and nothing more. Metro is here almost on a daily basis. I am just waiting to see a film crew from the TV show "Cops" come here. They show you the model apartment. You do not see the inside of the apartment that you are getting until the lease is signed. Our apartment had graffiti in it. The kitchen ceiling has stains on it. There was an apartment that sat vacant for a couple of months with a couple of broken windows. Well, the apartment got rented a few weeks ago and the windows are still broken. The owner is trying to sell this complex. It seems like the only time they make the place look nice on the outside is when they have a special visitor from the management company (RMI) or the owner. The security gates no longer work properly so anyone can just come in the complex at all hours of the day. Water is not included. You pay extra for that based on the number of people in your apartment and a percentage of the water bill for the entire complex.

THAT IS VERY TRUE!!! I think we need a lawyer when renting here in this place!.

I know its ridiculous hoe much you have to pay for water, most places come with the water included, I have to agree with everything you say,the security defenitly sucks, and the gates they should just take those out..i live in apt right behind target its not soo noisy over there or ghetto either you just hear the trash ppl alot..
