Everything sucks here. The parking, the maintenance, the office, the gate, everything. I don't have a good thing to say about anything. I have lived here for 2 years and I can't get out of here fast enough. The parking is so bad my husband had to park in a handicapped spot, it was either that or park in the Target parking lot. They towed our car because of it. Management and Quality Towing are running a scam. I smell kickbacks. Why then do we have to list the make, model, year, and plate # of our vehicles for the office to have on file. It's not like they give you a warning or let you know anything. They say they put a sticker on them and they probably do, just so they can take a picture right before they tow it.
We waited 5 months to have our ac/heater fixed and then had to have them come back 2 more times because it wasn't fixed right. A year ago the apartment above mine had their water heater go out and I had water pouring into my apartment. It broke through a place in the ceiling and now there is a hole about 1" in diameter and the stucco like material is hanging. I have brown stripes in my ceiling now because of it and I wouldn't be surprised to find out if there was the deadly black mold growing up there. They have never even made an attempt to fix it. They have come in to fix the air conditioning(again), to unclog the kitchen sink, to replace some valve for the shower in the master bath, and every time we point it out to them and we get the brush off.
They don't tell you when you move in that you will have to pay anywhere from $19 to $60 extra a month for the water and sewage. The units are not metered so you are paying for them to water the sidewalks along with anybody who moved without paying their rent or were evicted.
If you haven't paid rent by the 3rd of the month you will get a 5 Day Notice to Quit or Pay Rent on your door. Don't worry though, they won't follow through with it and throw you out after the 5 days. They only do it so they can charge you $66.00 for it. They pay $10.00 for it. Quite a profit huh'
They have lost my money order I paid my rent with, then turned around and evicted me on like the 28th before the month was even up. Even though I was in constant contact with some one in the office while waiting on a refund from the money order company. Of course this person did not communicate my situation to the other office staff. The person I was dealing with was even the one that signed the eviction notice!!! I was very lucky though, this person worked there the whole 4 weeks this took place. The turnaround on employees is so great you rarely deal with the same person twice. It was a horrible experience being locked out of my apartment, my belongings, my comfort zone. What made it worse was it was Antigua Bay's fault, they lost my money order. I got a 24 hour notice but by the time I get home from work the office is closed. So I wrote a letter explaining everything and who I had been in contact with in their office. I enclosed all of my receipts and documentation and slipped it in the after hours slot before I went to work. The imcompetent mother $@#^(*! locked me out anyway. They were very appologetic when I came in the next day (I had to miss a day of work)with the very same paperwork I had just dropped off the day before, which they took copies of making it the third set they had. I had given them copies of everything from the start, dropped off the second copy when I got the eviction notice, and the third was when I went in to the office. My gosh these people are stupid and ignorant.
There is more, so much more. I am in a constant battle with the bugs, insects, crawly things. I spray my apartment but they still get in. You can't even walk from your apartment to the parking lot without stepping on at least 3 bugs of some kind. Crickets, roaches, I don't know which there is more of. Of course the lighting in the complex is so bad you don't even know you are stepping on one until you hear and feel the crunch. It looks like just another stain on the sidewalk, til it moves. The lighting is so bad because they are too cheap to replace the bulb, or to lazy to get a ladder to replace the bulb, or don't have anyone with enough intelligence to fix it if it's broken.
I could go on but this would become a novel. You get the picture. Don't rent here. Don't give these people, RMI Properties your hard earned money.

you got that right those apartments do suck, I had the same problem I turned in a check though and it got lost somehow and I had the same notice, thankfully though they talked with my bank it was a huge mess and I had to change my bank info and everything..I just moved from there because my apartment was broken into 2 weeks ago and we told the office and everything and we knew who it was and they seemed like they could careless so we were like fine were outta here and we broke our lease.. screw antigua bay they are soooooooo utterly ridiculous they are the worst place to live all the ghetto ass people hanging around outside and I just cant believe I lived there for a year and a half.. I bet it was Rocio who stole the money cuz I havent seen her there.. They all should get fired the management and maintenance and that stupid security guard tooo they alll suck.. I wrote a letter to the management company though so they will def know everything that is going on there. I pretty much had the smae problems you do... Well hope you get out of there soon....:)
