Not too bad . . .

The layout of the apartments is very open, with a nice dining area. The grounds are well-kept and lush. Maitenance does their best to fix requests in a pretty timely manner. Nice pools and spas. Parking can be a pain because your car can be so far away from your apartment, there are poles that make space tight, and there is only one assigned spot (problem with two cars). The quality of the things in the apartment, cabinetry/linoleum is nothing special . . . some of it seems a little cheap. I do like the carpet, the appliances aren't bad and the fireplace is convenient. I have only seen one bug in this apartment in the year that I lived here . . . and that was last night. It was a small beetle that must have crawled in when I left the patio door open. The office staff doesn't go out of their way and they provide a basic level of service, which is okay . . . sometimes they seem a little less than polite. It's a little lame that they charge you extra rent if you have a pool view (woohoo), but I guess it's better than a parking lot view. The noise level is pretty low and the apartment is nicely insulated. Overall, it's not extravagant, but it's a nice place . . . and the location is absolutely killer.
