Everything was great at first. It was my first time moving to Vegas so I didn't know the area that well. As time went on, I kept hearing bad stories about apartments being broken in to. My car got vandalized right before Christmas, and they had to switch from unarmed to armed security. Almost everyone I know from that complex has had something bad happen to them(lots of stolen cars and motorcycles). My roommate's car was broken into twice in two months untill he was finally fed up and left, which cost me a lot of money paying the rent by myself. I couldn't find anyone who wanted to live there. One morning I drove home to find four police cars in front of my apartment and shattered glass everywhere. Five cars had been broken into that night and my neighbor's motorcycle was stolen. Every morning I wake up and check to make sure my car is still there and in one piece. Everything else is okay, but because the crime is so bad, I don't recommend that anyone live here. If you have to live in this area, find a place with a garage or with good security. Everyone I know at Avion is planning to move as soon as their lease is up. I turned in my copies of police reports and left. I've never looked back.
