I've lived in Bonanza Gardens for over 18 years. We had a pole fall on a car, we've had cars broken into, units broken into, a glorified security guard, which was nothing but a vigilante. Trash was ALWAYS everywhere and would never be cleaned up. They would let any slob with $99 move in in the later years of living there. Trust me when my family and I first moved in, they were beautiful apartments, but when some mexican took over then it just became a breading ground for imigrants. The place is terrible. I would never recomend it to anyone, even a bum that lived on the streets.

I am the sister of the above young man, and I must disagree. There are problems with any apartment anywhere in town. The racist implication is disgusting. The neighborhood is definitely majority Latino, and always had been from the minuted we moved in. It made the neighborhood rich in culture. I was always reluctant to leave (thus the 17 years I lived there). There are better, newer apartments around town, without a doubt, but a home is what you make of it.
