I have been living at the Breakers for just about a year.. and I WILL NOT renew my lease.
Out of any apartment in Vegas I must say this has been the worst experience.
When I moved in the patio and bathtub was filthy. I told them I would clean the tub and they said they would have a porter come by to sweep up the spider webby dirty patio, never happened. The toilet was leaky(this got fixed).. not good water pressure that they said they could do nothing about. The tubs are nice but mine had been installed the wrong way and there was always a puddle of water that stands at the bottom. I have a nasty neighbor that throws garbage over the back wall daily into the neighborhood behind the apartments. So there are roaches and cats hanging out constantly at night.
Let's see, there are apartments that are remodeled and some that are not. They upgraded my kitchen counter. the workers for that project moved some if my stuff around in my living room. Tv was not on the channel I left it. And there was a ink pen left on my couch. Um.. why are they in my livingroom on my couch when they are supposed to be installing a kitchen counter'!!

There are a few other events. A few months ago.. I went away for the weekend.. I heard water running on my way out. I came back the following Monday and I could still hear the water running like someone was taking a bath. I reported this more than once. A day later (Tuesday they check it out) A pipe had burt in a unrented upstairs apartment. The entire side of that building had to be gutted. And they apologized to me for not checking it out sooner.
Last month my dryer decided not to work anymore. and it ended upi to be 2 and a half weeks before I got a new one. they told me they had 3 other tenants that were waiting on them too. they told me they came from AZ' um, why'
But, the most current was I woke up today and went into the kitchen.. and I saw mushrooms that grew over night in my dining room'!! I could go on, but I need to find a new place to move to since I won't be renewing at the Breakers!

Wow. Mushrooms that grow overnight. Sounds like a science-fiction movie.
