Not Such a Bad Place to Live Now

Realistically, no apartment is going to be "perfect." We've lived here for over 7 years now and seen both good and bad management. I think the current managers work pretty hard to address maintenance issues and noise issues. They finally put up security gates, have updated landscaping. The problems are not with the management, but with the tenants, who throw garbage on the grounds and in the parking lot, allow their kids to walk by and key people's cars, pump up the most awful music in the universe, etc. , but these, unfortunately, are things that occur in most apartment complexes. There was not a roach problem again, until recently, when they dug up a lot of dirt to do landscaping, but we used an effective repellent and haven't experienced anymore problems with the pesky critters. Don't like the fact that people can have pit bulls here, but... The rent is still decent and it really isn't a bad place to live. i just hope the current managers stay on, since, compared to those we had in the past, they genuinely seem to care about the tenants. If you decide to move here, make sure that you don't get an apartment near the back of the complex, though, because that's where noisy kids congregate, because they can't be seen. It's a pretty decent place to live, most of the time, however.
