Please let it be known this place is now "Camden Palisades." After weighing the pros and cons I am renewing my lease for another year. I had an issue with a neighbor but they finally moved. Some parts of this place is ghetto-fab and other parts are nice. The gym had no TV, but they finally remodled the gym and got a TV however the equipment is old school. They could use some free-weights and an elliptical glider. Last year the gym was hot and not A/C'd that much but this year it is nice and cold. Management is friendly and willing to go the extra mile if asked to do so. Lately I have spotted a few roaches here and there but they will come on Tuesdays and spray. Also anytime I have had a maintenance request they are on it and they leave a receipt. One grievance I had was last year we did not have water for a day. I feel they could have offered us some kind of reimbursement or at least a coupon for something free. This place can do a lot and market themselves more. The location is awesome. The pool by the mgmt office is nice but the pool in phase II is dirty and many unattended ghetto-fab kids play there. This place has a broad spectrum of residents ranging from the Preppy Spring Break type to the career type and a few but minimal crack head type. I do not beleive we have ever seen any incidents like shootings or drug busts. The scenery is nice at night and you can see the luxor beam. Also the sky is beautiful at night and in the day. The windows are nice and the structures of the buidlings are nice as well. The interior is nice but could use a little bit of modernization. Also some of the buildings are a dark salmon color and other ones are the faded old school early 1990's peach color. I live in an old school type. The wash/ dryer are stacked. Parking is ok where I live but other parts are difficult to park. Also there is a lot of greenery compared to other places and it is nice to walk a pet or just go for a walk. A major issue I have is maintenance mowing and clipping the lawn early in the morning. People need sleep!!! I would not reccomend this place for people with kids. There are no playgrounds or kid related facilities. I have had specific issues and management has always worked with me to their capacity. Anytime I have needed to make a copy or fax a document mgmt has been great. The 33ish yr old dude that is the property manager is superfriendly and cheerful. He is so customer service oriented. He is nice a friendly like a politician. Also rent is due on the 3rd but if you drop it on the night of the 3rd they do not asess late fees. This is nice and convenient for those who work late. Also the fences have been painted and the gates have been fixed. This place has a lot of grass too :)
