Car Stolen

My car was stolen from this gated community. I agree with the previous critic, don?t be fooled by this apartment?s outer appearance. This apartment complex creates a false sense of security. According to my next-door neighbor, the gates were wide open on the night my car was stolen when he came home around 4AM. When I confronted management, they denied that the gates were unsecured. Plus, they stated that this was not the management?s problem and that I should call the police. Obviously, I had already called the police before I went to them.
We moved into this apartment in June 2001, and the management has since changed. Recently, the management installed new lighting so they could justify charging you more money. Yesterday, we were notified that since they changed water companies, they have to charge us two months of water bills because it has fallen behind. If this is true, where is the money I have included each month in our rent for our water bill' Oh, yes, the water isn?t paid for in this apartment complex unlike other apartment complexes around this neighborhood. The services that they suppose to offer you such as holding your packages to lure you to this apartment lasted for about two months. After that, we had to pick up packages ourselves. I cannot comment on the pool or exercise area since we are busy and rarely use these services. One last thing, this apartment complex requires a parking permit on your car. You don?t have to pay for the parking permit, but if you don?t have it, they will tow your car away. Yes, I had a parking permit on my stolen car and it wasn?t towed. I checked. If you have a guest, that guest will need a guest permit to be allowed to park in this apartment complex or their car will be towed. My advise is this: If you want to live here, carefully consider your decision. Personally, I think you can find better and cheaper apartments.
