This place was never that good but got worse when new management took overin 2001. Security is poor. My wife's bicycle was stolen from our "second floor" balcony.

Although I paid the overpriced rent promptly every month, management even had the nerve to rip me off by trying to charge me an extra day because I vacated after 4:00 pm, even going so far as to send it to a collection agency after I refused their fraudulent charge.

Mail was stolen from mailboxes on several occasions. Tennis courts were in terrible condition and made unusable at night for weeks at a time due to the frequent, unmaintained and duly reported "water gushers".

Air conditioning was very inefficient but when you left your window screens open at night the soot and dirt buildup was intolerable. Apartment was supposedly 1500 square feet but I think this was a lie. It felt very cramped.

Swimming pool was closed for months at a time. Lazy security guard tried to evict people from the pool area more than two hours earlier than the posted times.

On more than one occasion, I got threatening erroneous notices for overdue rent and each time got an apology that it must have just been a clerical error.

On more than one occasion, I was never notified that a (backoreder) FedEx or UPS package I was expecting was left at the office delaying receipt more than a week.

Maintenance requests often took two three or more tries, everyone denying a request had been made. Garbage disposal was a particular problem. I never had a garbage disposal problem but had problems with this one every few months.

There are a lot of other apartments in this area that I'm sure are a lot better. My life since moving into my new house in Southwest LV is heaven compared to living in these awful "luxury" apartments.
