This apartment community is a great place to live! You complain about trash but who puts it there! Oh and were you blind-folded when you went to rent or did they just clean that day only!

Unsafe-well pull up the crime stats from Metro. The police records will reflect no violent crimes and nothing other than the things that happen through out the entire valley!

Dogs! Yeah okay, there was the guy with the dog that kept biting everyone and I guess the manager was a horrible person because she had the "nerve" to tell him his dog had to go. Maybe the staff is inept or dishonet because they keep trying to tell the people with dogs to clean up their own crap! Bad manager!

Drugs and alcohol..welcome to vegas. Did you get off your high horse long enough to make a phone call to Metro or do you just sit on your butt and whine.

The problems are not issued with an apartment it is the people that live in the community that bring the problems but you blame the management. If your neighbors suck in a home who do you blame it on then'

I tell you that I put up with the woman over me who thought she was the bird lady and fed pigeons all day. I had bird crap all over my patio. I used to sit on it all the time until she started that. Nevermind pigeons are flying rats with diseases. I didn't blame management that my neighbor was turning my patio into a crap fest.

Watch the news, the world is full of crime, if you thought you were moving into an armed fortress you should have had a clue when you seen the price of rent cause you were only renting an apartment. Hope you found somewhere to live that fed your fantasy of life!

Your review only validates the negative comments made by other tenants. You should take a class in English grammar. You might then appear to be a more reliable source of information. You made a comment that you hoped the person found a place to live that "fed your fantasy of life." May I suggest that it is you who is living in fantasy-land. Please, for your own sake, open your eyes and look around. By the way, many people find great pleasure in bird-watching and bird-feeding. It isn't a crime.

I worked at Canyon View several years ago, when it was managed by RMI inc. In fact I was the superintendent until it's sale, and a change in management went first to Pinnacle, and apparently on to Oasis. One must remember that management can only work within the confines of the budget allowed by the properties owners. Often times owners desire so much profit, without regard to the economy, that there is little if any budget left for such things as parts, materials, even payroll is sacrificed to meet the demands of owners. Even then, management is expected to fill apartments. With these constraints, do you expect management to create parts? materials? use volunteer labor? Personnaly, i dedicated 12-14 hours daily, 7 days a week to this property. The grass as always green, the trash was removed every morning by 7 am, and fines were levied on any resident caught not policing behind their pets. Size limits were strictly enforced. We did have some issues with residents from the much largr complex next door, crossing the dividing walls, until we tarred the top of it, both as a deterrent and as weather proofing the hollow core blocks it is comprised of. The single biggest issue in my time there was parking, unfortunately many people turn their garages into storage facilities, instead of parking in them as they should. At the time of the properties sale, we had just begun implementing assigned parking. Looks as if that project was left at the wayside in the change of management.
