I was notified a new review was posted and, out of curiosity, I read it. If the author of the last review (posted 9/25/07) was hoping to impress would-be new tenants, then perhaps she/he should have refrained from expressing her/himself with such crude, ignorant, aggressive comments. The inappropriate anger, the personal attack (against whom and why), and the use of crude language only confirms the validity of the negative reviews given for Canyon View Apartments.

I lived at this apartment complex, and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. It is dirty, odorous, noisy, there are roaches everywhere, and it is most definitely unsafe. The staff is friendly only before one signs a lease. Regrettably, after a lease is signed they become too busy, rude or simply not available when anything is requested of them (i.e. repairs & security calls). I also agree the entire staff appears to be dishonest. Unfortunate.

The very fact the author of the 9/25/07 review lashes out with such anger against what appears to be an honest review by another tenant (ex-tenant), and turns it into a personal attack, speaks more of the author, and the quality of tenant attracted to this complex, than it does of the person(s) they were attacking.

My family and I moved out of Canyon View because of aggressive, unfriendly, and "unsafe" people like the author of the 9/25/07 review. The area was/ is unsafe. Tenants did NOT pick up after their pets and the smell was nauseating. Drinking and drugging most definitely did appear to be the favorite avocation (hobby/ past-time), as evidenced by beer bottles strewn around each morning. And, let us not forget the late-night pool "activities" that should have been kept to bedrooms ... PLEASE!

It is unfortunate the author of 9/25/07 couldn't simply post an opposing review, stating the author's polite, fact-based disagreement with the negative reviews given previously, instead of launching into such an angry tirade (that means angry out-burst).

After living at the complex, it is my opinion that Canyon View Apartment complex is one of the worst places I've lived (fortunately it was for a short time). Anyone wishing to find a comfortable, safe, clean home, with honest staff, might want to consider looking elsewhere.
