We have lived here for almost 3years. At first it was ok, it has never been great. We moved because the size of the apartments was good for the price. Also, there was no deposit. I liked the idea of having a garage. But, after moving in, we found that our car would not fit in the garage. We have a mini van. Most cars don't fit in them, and there is not a lot of on site parking. Since we have handicapped access, we don't have much of a problem with parking, except when non-hadicapped people parked in marked spaces, or people block us in by parking behind us (has happened 3 times). My biggest concern when we moved in was that NONE of the plugs were secure. We had a todler, so I wanted them all replaced. The maintenance told me he would replace 3 of them. He told me in front of the mananger that he would not fix them all. PLus the appliences didn't work. I asked for a new oven for ONE YEAR! THe aparment is infested with roaches. I know that they are a part of apartment life, but these keep coming no matter how many imes I spray, or set traps. The grounds a re covered in BLACK WIDOWS. There are three on my patio right now. Plus several more along the base of every building, between a/c units, and in the garages. The unit is also not insulated. Prepare to spend a fortune on electricity. Our bill last month was $200, for a 1,000 sq.ft apt. To put that in perspective, my friend has a 3200 sq ft house. Her bill was $450. We are a third of her size, and our bill was almost half! No, we don't leave our a/c on all day. It stays betwenn 78 and 80. You can see light coming through the front door, the bay windows are all cracked, and the blinds all move when the wind blows. There are safety concerns as well. Two bdrms are being occupied by 6-8 people, which is illegal! There has been stabbings, drug od's, shootings, gang activity, and more. I DO NOT feel safe letting my child outside to play with ANYONE! I can't reccomend anything here. It has really gotten bad. Maybe they'll turn it around. There is new mngmt (about a year ago), but the only thing so far they've done is landscape and kick out people with dogs. THey stopped that, now if you have a dog you are month to month and can be asked at any time to leave. So we found someplace newer and cleaner. Good riddance! (The only bright spot is Gil, the maintenance guy. He is an angel. He fixes everything in time, and does a reat job!)

My daughter and I lived in the apartments for three months in 2007, and moved as soon as possible for ALL the reasons you listed, PLUS the additional problem of living next to the pool and having X-rated behavior going on (in front of my daughter) at all times of the day and night, but night expecially. PLEASE ... if anyone actually reads these postings, STAY AWAY FROM THIS APARTMENT!!!!!!

the x-rated crap that goes on has to do with the people not management and can happen anywhere....i've seen it first hand in gated communities....also too many people are using the garage for storage...if you're not using it for storage than give it up and get some of your rent knocked off...

It states in your lease that yo can use your garage for storage. Management is lackadasical about the people living in their community. They know what is going on, but as long as rent is paid, they don't care. Which puts everyone in danger.
