Get Over It

To some point you have to realize that this is an apartment complex, and you let the good in with the bad. I have been here for a year and a half and have only had one problem. My car got broken into one morning and this guy we only see in passing and have never met, chased him down and called the cops.
Management has always been pretty helpful when I needed anything, maintenance comes very quickly when needed, and most of the people I have lived near are very friendly. If i pass someone on the sidewalk, they always say hello. I do think that there is a tremendous difference between apartment locations i.e. the 1-2 bedroom apartments vs. 3 bedrooms but that's just because you get more familes the larger the place and yes, there are always those few ghetto families that are going to piss you off the moment they walk outside.
As for the roaches, I think I have seen maybe one or two since I have been here. I will get an earwig once a month or so...and I have a downstairs unit. A lot of times, in apartments your roach count will greatly depend on the cleanliness of your neighbors. Even if the apartments spray constantly, this is a desert and bugs are here to stay.
I don't use the pool because public pools gross me out anyway so I can't comment on the pool. But overall, for the money, it is not a bad choice at all.
