but somewhat rotten on the inside! Should have known by the bad start, my 1 year at Copper Canyon would be problematic from the get go. After leaving a deposit on an unoccupied 3 bedroom, the management promised the apartment would be ready in 4 days. When moving day arrived, not only was the apartment not ready, it hadn't been touched at all. The carpets will still dirty, the walls still had marks on them, and the living room window was broken! it took the next 2 days to get the place cleaned and painted, at which point we moved in, but it took nearly a month and numerous requests to the management to get the window repaired. We asked to have the screens replaced as several of them were torn, and that took about a month as well. Service calls to the office are NOT handled well at all (we have had several occasions to call for other minor service issues through the year) The office staff are FAR from professional in nature, and the turnover in staff as well as management is like none I have seen in other apartment complexes. Parking is an issue, but what apartment complex is without parking isues. Many blind corners, and driving through the complex can be an adventure. There seems to be a problem with garbage as well. It is not uncommon to see trash bags collecting outside a good number of apartments. Apart from the problems, the apartment itself is spacious, with plenty of storage, and the rent is consistant with other 3 bedrooms in the area. It goes without saying that I will not be renewing my lease with Copper Canyon and would have a hard time recommending this complex to others.
