Well, simply put, the management sucks, and the maintenance is worse. It may have 5 pools, but none of them are upkept. You would be better off swimming in an LA public pool with 200 people in it. They are just NASTY. Ya, there is grass everywhere, but don't dare strike a match anywhere around, because you will start a huge fire. Security, isn't that what that flickering street light is''' No, I think it is more than unsafe to say that there is none at all.
Ok, let's see about the maintenance. It took 16 phone calls, and a week to simply change a thermostat in a hot water heater. They may have a "fixed in 24 hours or free rent" deal, but you might has well just forget about it. Corporate management, AIMCO, sucks, and you have to go through the biggest chain of command you ever did see, and noone has ever even heard of how they would even go about living up to their contract.
Getting local telephone service here took over 3 weeks, because there are no terminals on the property to hook into, go figure.
Simply put, take your $1100 move in for a studio, and get yourself a 3 bedroom apartment somewhere else, it is not worth the hassles to be in this unsafe, unsanitary complex.
