My husband and I are living at Coral Garden now since the beginning of February 2007 and we had problems from the beginning. When we had a look at the complex and the apartment we told them that we had an RV and the young woman said that this wouldn't be a problem and they also told us we could rent extra storage space. When we signed the lease on the day we moved in (we live at the RV Park for a couple of days) we found out that we weren't allowed to park our RV anywhere and all the extra storage space was rented, but they would put us on the waiting list. I wonder if we are still on that list! It was winter so that was no problem that the swimming pools (5) were closed, but when it got hot in April and I saw that the swimming pool was open at the office I asked about our (between apartment block 3 and 5, and they told us they would open after Memorial Day. Whey one was open and the rest closed she didn't tell, even after I asked.
Memorial Day is two weeks ago and 3 out of 5 pools are still closed. They won't tell you the truth, because you here all sorts of reasons and one is, that the whole management changed in the last couple of months and the pool company doesn't work for Coral Garden anymore!!!! One pool is empty and the management say that they have to be cleaned and put in new equipment, but you don't see any pool company working on it.
The apartments are not to bad, yes pretty old I guess, and there is very little storage space in the kitchen and the A/C are not working to good and are very loud.....
And what is a gated community when the main gate is always open. O.k. there is a securitygard walking around, but he can't be everywhere.
I am glad when we can move out here and I won't recommend Coral Garden to anyone, especially because the people in the office are not to good either, they are either poorly trained or pretty lazy, I am not sure. I am an office clerk from profession (in Germany) so I know what I am talking about. But we have a Labrador puppy and the dog park is only 10-15 min. walk away and that is great and we have Walmart Supercenter down the road.
