The apartments themselves are practically falling apart. If you are living upstairs or downstairs expect to have quite a bit a noise coming in through the walls, enough to drive you nuts if you are trying to take a nap. The floor boards squeek when you walk. The neighbors themselves are extremely shady: the police had to come by every other night.

Watch out for the obvious drug deals going on in every corner of the complex. Oh, and the homeless people (bless their souls) shack up where they can, in the canal right next to the complex.

Maintenance is a joke as well. The air conditioning unit in my apt. went out. They replaced it with one that did not have the plastic face on it, so it allowed nice little creepy crawlies (mostly roaches) to get in. I requested the face plate several times, they never brought one.

Regardless of the location and accessibility to the strip, its not worth it.
