Not worth the measly amount for rent

Desert Rose Apartments is cheap. It is cheap for a reason. While it advertises security, they haven't had security in several months. Not that security did much to deter crime, since they simply deferred everything back to Metro. In fact, one of the former security guards was into drugs himself.
This apartment complex is infested with drugs, petty dealers, and many of them are not even tenants of the complex. Thus, it isn't unusual for a complete stranger to solicit a drug transaction. This is because apartment management - while rhetorically opposing trespassing - does nothing to stop it, by instructing the tenants themselves to enforce management's/corporate's stated policy against.
The on-site maintenance person was canned, and so there is literally nobody to call in case of an after-hours maintenance emergency. Maintenance has been woefully neglected in this complex.
Apartment management is mostly unresponsive.
In short: this apartment complex is uncared for, unmanaged, and a lawless jungle. It isn't worth the $405.00 per month in rent. In fact, they should almost be paying their tenants to stay here.
