First off, Brian is great. Dont listen to the other comments on him. He's been very helpful and has known me on a first name basis and remembers what apartment im in. Which is nice considering he has so many people to remember.
The grounds are above average but nothing great. The pool is nice but cleaning of it falls off as the summer winds down. From August- Nov I think I counted 3 cleanings.
I dont know why people say it takes weeks for maintence. It took our guy 40 minutes driving frmo his house to fix our sink. Great if you ask me.
SECURITY STINKS. 'm sorry but this is where I decide i will not extend my lease. My car has been broken into TWICE!!!!!! Reported both to the police and management with no solutions. I have a decent car and a parking spot and now I honestly dont leave a thing in my car anymore. It has come down to me having to randomly wake up at 3:00 am to see if I can catch the idiot doing this. My grilfriends car was broken into as well. ITS REDICULOUS!!!!!!!!! Until Durango does something, ANYTHING, I would say STAY AWAY. WE pay 1050 a month for a two bedroom and we are going to move into a house for that much and have security with a garage. If they somehow fix this crime problem, then this place would be a fine selection if they lower their price about 100 dollars. If not, go somewhere else.

That is funny about the crime. Crime is everywhere, it doesn't matter if you are in an apartment or a home. It happens. Lowering the rent won't help because then the clientel will drop which definately won't help with crime. I don't think "they" can fix the crime rate. You people are ridiculous. If the police can't offer you any solutions, what will managment be able to offer you?

This is to the response posted. I believe management can afford to have a security guard roam the premises in the evening (or MULTIPLE considering the properties are so large) with the amount of rent that the tenants are paying. If they want such "high" clientele, than they should be willing to provide them with high class service.

You know what is funny I think the first "Anonymously" person works for Durango Canyons. In all of the bad reviews you get someone who "knows" a little about the inner workings and is always trying to "explain" the situation. Just goes to show you that the employees need to focus more on their job and less on time on the internet trying to respond to bad reviews. The reviews wouldn't be bad if they did their job....
