I've rented a two bedroom apratment on the North side for almost a year now and I have had no problems at my apartment. Maintenance has come in a reasonable amount of time when needed and the staff at the apartment complex have been nice. We have friendly neighbors and the area at night is very quiet. During the summer there are roaches at the pool area at night, but thats normal in the summer. The only problem area I see where I live is that there is no security patrolling the premises. The North side is really a nice area, because it is smaller. And the are a lot less children in the area.

The South side has a lot of kids living in the area. And apparently alot of crime. Drive though the complex and you will see people walking around the complex at all times of night. Like you are living in the hood.

I just want people to know that there is a difference between the two area's. That may also be the reason why you see such oposite opinions.
