For starters, you will be paying for the carpet no matter what after you move out. mine was 530 dollars, plus if you slightly mess up the blinds or doors you will be paying for that too. so thats around 700 dollars already. if you dont pay for it then it will go against your credit and will be hard for you to get to another apartment. Second, maintenace, you mind aswell do it yourself. unless you like waiting 2 weeks for it. And last dont let the office people fool you. Friendly but when your done , its like they dont even wanna deal with you at all.(Brain probably the only good one there). But im telling you once your move out they will charge you for everything. the walk through would be friendly but after that, surprise , you owe me this and that. Yes im not very happy, but if you dont believe me go ahead try it out, then you ll wonder why you didnt listen to me. So if you got something negative to say about what i said. Try out this place and enjoy. and by the way theres an application fee. haha guess how much it is' come by and see...

NORMAL wear and tear is not your liability. Did you have more than wear and tear? What was the carpet issue? Overall condition OR was there something wrong (burn/stain/other) in one area? If charged $530 for the carpet ... what is WRITTEN on your receipt for the reason? Did your deposit cover this or did you have no deposit at stake? If you respond -- have suggestions to help you -- even now, AFTER your move.

I have to wonder why you think you dont owe for the damage you caused? If you damage something shouldnt you have to pay for it? I live at Durango Canyon and I love it here yeah I know it takes maintenance awhile to get to fixing my issues with my apt but I understand. I have a screw driver and some basic knowledge of how to fix stuff so I do it. What would you do if you owned a house.. who would fix it? You would and you would pay for it.. do you think they would be at your house immediately? No sometimes you have to wait so get over it and move on!!!
