Hi! My name is Molly and I am the manager of Eagle Crest Apartment Homes. I wanted to respond to the various editorials that were posted on the website.
1. The property is ran by Stout Management Company. We just recently acquired this property from Sentinel Corporation. Understandably there are problems with the community, but it also takes time to fix problems. In the next 6 to 12 months there are going to be some major changes. I ask that residents be patient with these changes because it is for the better of the community.
2. Pet policy has changed. Pets are no longer allowed in any apartment. They are only allowed on the exterior of the property in order to have a better handle on the pet issues. Yes, there is a $50.00 fine for anyone not picking up after their animal and it is enforced.
3. Pest control has dramatically changed. Eagle Crest has never had preventative pest control maintenace. Starting January 2005 exteriors are being sprayed ona quarterly basis to help control this problem. By spraying 4 times a year this will dramatically decrease the pest problem that others have dealt with in the past.
4. Walls in apartments are not built like walls in homes. A lot of people move into apartments for the first time with major expecatations of never hearing their neighbors. I wish this was true, but I have managed a lot of buildings and this is an ongoing problem everywhere you go. The great thing about Eagle Crest is that their is light weight concrete poured between the first and second floor to help combat the noise. If it was just wood which a lot of complexes use as their subflooring then the noise would be even worse.
5. Noise level of neighbors - In order to combat this problem, residents have to notify management of the problem. Nothing can be done unless management is made aware of the problem. My team and I are very proactive in handling issues. We want this is to be a positive experience and in order to accomplish this residents need to have a relationship with their management team. We want to work with our residents and we look forward to it!

If you have more questions about Eagle Crest please call the community and we would be more than happy to sit down and discuss this with you!
