READ ALL BEFORE MOVING IN...

First of all, the management is horrible. They don't give you all the information, and they dance around the subject. Also, some of them have attitudes. In my opinion, they really need to work on their customer service skills.
When I first moved in, I didn't have too many problems. My mailbox did get broken into a week after moving in, which is not really their fault, but they do leave the mail room door open all day. In my opinion, they should lock it. After all, thats why we have a mailroom key.
ONE OF MY MAIN ISSUES WITH THIS PLACE IS THE WATER. YOU HAVE TO PAY PER PERSON FOR WATER, AND IT COMES TO ABOUT $45 EXTRA A MONTH(FOR 2 PEOPLE)!!! I LIVED IN A HOUSE WITH 4 PEOPLE, AND THE WATER CAME OUT TO ABOUT $19/MONTH. THE REASON IT IS SO HIGH HERE IS BECAUSE THEY TAKE THE TOTAL WATER BILL FOR THE COMPLEX, AND SPLIT IT UP PER PERSON. THEY ALSO WATER THEIR GRASS AT LEAST 3 TIMES A DAY. WE LIVE IN VEGAS AND WE ARE IN A DROUGHT...THEY SHOULDNT BE WATERING THAT MANY TIMES A DAY! Its pretty with all the greenery, but its not pretty in your wallet.
My washing machine broke one night after hours, so i called the 24 hour emergency hotline. The Lady there said it was no emergency (which is fine, it wasnt) and that someone would call me first thing in the morning. Well, 11 am rolls around, and no call. So I called them. I was on the phone with management, and she had an attitude with me, and she literally told me that the people in the emergency hotline office "don't know what they are talking about." I work in customer service, and that is no way to calm down an angry customer. It took them until 4pm to get to my place to fix it. Same thing happened to someone else I know who lives there, except it was their fridge that broke..and their food almost went bad.
Another thing is the parking situation. You cannot see your car from your apartment, because your assigned spot is down the street. Now, there are a lot of apartment complexes that dont have parking next to the apartment you live in, but there are a lot that do. I suggest finding one that has parking close to where you live, especially if you are a woman. Its dangerous to walk at night by yourself. They also JUST told us that we cannot park backwards anymore, or they will up our rent. THAT IS NO WHERE IN THE CONTRACT THAT I SIGNED, AND IT IS NOT ILLEGAL TO PARK BACKWARDS.
They also charge you more once your lease is up AND you have to given written notice two months before your lease is up, stating whether or not you would like to stay.
The walls are not as thick as they told us they are. i can hear my neighbors tv, and i live upstars.

I completely agree with everything above, I regret the day I moved into this place. By far the worst apartment community I've ever lived in.
