My husband and I lived in our apartment for only 5 months. We had so much trouble with Eagle Trace that is wasn't even funny. The trouble started way before we even moved in. I delt with 3 different people before we signed the papers and we got different stories from each of them. And what really set me off was the fact that my husband and I drove 2 1/2 days from Texas to sign the papers for the apartment. We were told that the lady we were dealing with was going to be there until 6 o'clock that evening. So we drove straight to Eagle Trace when we got into town. We got to Eagle Trace at 5:00 exactly and they were closed. So we were forced to stay the night in Las Vegas. The next morning I called the office to see if the lady was going to be there and I was told that she was going to be there. So we scheduled an appointment with her for 4 o'clock that day. Well when we got there, we found out that that day was her day off. She scheduled an appointment on her day off and I had found out later that that was not the first time she had done that. So we had to deal with yet another person. Then someone tried breaking into our apartment while I was home alone, that was not funny at all. Then someone broke into my husbands car and stold a bunch of stuff. And we also went to the office to address the issue with the front gate. The gate had only worked like a week the whole time we were living there. The manager told us that they would have it fixed in a week, it took them over a month to fix it. And now the latest is, they mailed my father a letter saying that we owed them over $900 dallors. So I proceeded to get in my car and drive down there to see that the problem was. They didn't realize that we gave them our rent for our last month there and they tried to make us pay for the carpet that was already messed up before we moved in. Well after they looked over the bill, it came to their attention that they OWED us money. Now that was funny!!!
