The first year we were there, everything was fine. The second year, oh boy...my dryer went out and it took me calling the Olen Properties to get it taken care of...although they gave me a used dryer that broke down later. That one was replaced after much complaining. We had a sewer backup, severe enough that it was in the living room. They didn't want to fix the problem; they didn't want to clean the place; I finally called the health department who made them replace the carpeting/padding. It wasn't done right; there are gaps between the walls and the carpet/tile. I still had to clean the whole thing up; they paid for 3 nights in a crappy hotel and didn't cover the damaged items. I lost over a thousand dollars worth of items and they laughed. The dining room and master bedroom had severe mold damage. They wouldn't fix the problem; Debbie (the manager) kept saying that it was because the roof leaked. I'm on the first floor. /blink She also stated they couldn't find a roofer. /double blink I finally took in pictures and part of the wall to the main office, along with a statement from my son's doctor saying he was ill due to the mold...when they had a room full of people wanting to lease, that emptied out in a hurry when they saw the damage/mold. The only reason they "fixed" it was because my lease ran out and they asked us to sign for another year. HAH!
The parking is nonexistant, the walkways are dark and overshadowed by trees. Our neighbors on one side were partiers, had to call the cops on them multiple times with no help from management. The other ones above us liked to throw their cigarette butts down onto my canvas patio furniture, destroying it. Again management did nothing. I would not recommed this complex, nor any Olen Property to anyone.
