Eagle Trace Apartments

It's been just great for me From: BluMac Date posted: 5/19/2005 Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2005   I find it weird that so many people wrote bad reviews on these apartments... I guess it totally depends on which area or building you're in, cause my 5 years experience here has been great. The area is very nice in terms of trees and landscaping (kind of refreshing from all the brown desert in Vegas), the staff is really friendly and helpful with any situation i've had, the community is fairly quiet, and it helps that the insulation is pretty good. Some things broke down, like my heater breaking, my doorknob jamming, my faucet dripping, and AC going out. But the problems were few and far between honestly, and they responded quite quickly. Those problems are to be expected after years of living at a place. Parking was ok, i had a few instances of people parking in my covered spot but not many, security is pretty helpful there. My only beefs are how they kept raising rent to far above what it was really worth. And also that some of their maintenance people are lacking in skill and professionalism. In the case of my broken heater, where i had 6 different maintenance guys come by at different times trying to figure out what was wrong, but most of them were stumped...the one that did find the problem (clogged up pipes at the water heater) yelled and cussed and threw tantrums while he was doing the job on the water heater (while i was in the living room)...it was more amusing than disturbing =P. There is no crime here that I know of, I haven't had any issues...well, other than someone stealing my sparkletts bottle that was on my porch this one time, but that was the only time in 5 years. The community is made up of military (like me), and minorities pretty much, everyone seems to get along fine. I guess that's it, I would reccomend these apartments to anyone, especially to military just getting in the area (hey you don't have to pay deposit lol). Good luck.
