if you do , this is the place for you. i've been here for 7 months. from day one, i've killed 11 scorpions in the apartment. when i went to the office, they sent an exterminator, who by the way, sprayed the living room floor, and left. two days later, what is on THE KITCHEN COUNTER'' yeah you guessed it. went back to the office and the kind gentleman said, and i quote "welcome to the desert."

the day i moved in, the gas company came out to turn the gas on, and said i need a new water heater NOW. maintenance said "wait until it dies, and then we'll replace it."

neighbors are fairly friendly....but then again, only to my wife. they are all very loud. between the bumping bass in the unit above mine, and the domestic disputes in the unit next to me, i don't know which one is more irritating in the middle of the night.

the neighborhood is nice, if you like the "little Mexico" look. wal-mart is conveniently across the street....we do our shopping about 20 minutes out of the way, but the parking lot seems very secure, with all of the police cars lighting it up on a nightly basis.

i highly recommend this place, especially if you like desert wildlife in the home, are not a female, you like getting stared down at the local wal-mart by either bums or thugs, you don't own a nice vehicle, and if you own a gun. bYr9ljUwtCbMRXE8dRDC

We've been here for 3.5 years and have never seen a scorpion, you must live in the back of the complex. I will say that I have seen way too many Black Widows. Parking is a joke. Maintenance is a joke. Security is a joke. Management is a joke. This is turning into the ghetto, kids hanging out after curfew, skateboarders everywhere (even in hallways), locks are broken and any key will work, drug dealers on the curbs outside apartments, in the tennis courts, basketball courts, and even at the pool (watch the pools for groups of kids and loud music with THE OFFICE OPEN). Our rent has gone up over $100.00 in the past three years. We are leaving at the end of this lease.

I can't say I've seen more than 1 scorpion in 4 1/2 years. Unfortunately, I see at least 1 new black widow in my laundry room every month. Ants are also a problem from time to time.

I have tried gone through just about every review imaginable in the last week trying desperately to find a place that someone may actually approve of living in. I read a review on this place and it basically said if you like bugs, aren't a woman, don't mind people, like skateboarders, and own a gun, then this place is for you. With the exception of bugs, I fit all the criteria. I'm moving to Las Vegas from Detroit, MI. Trust me, I'm used to dealing with problems. And it seems like that's what I'll have to do anywhere I end up in Las Vegas. Fix the problem myself. If everybody joined together and petitioned for a movement, even as simple as a neighborhood watch, then it wouldn't seem so bad. Things only get worse when people refuse to fight for the cause because it's easier and more convenient to have someone hired from a security company that they charge extra rent to pay off. And what do they really do for you that you can't do for yourselves? All I want to know is what is the apartment like? What do the utilities average per month? Are the apartments big enough for what you spend? They have no pictures of the bedrooms on Rent.com. What are they like? I don't mean to sound like I'm slamming people for simply saying that they hate where they live. But I just want to know if it's really as awful as everyone claims it is. Come to Detroit for a week and take a look at where I live.
