Leaving ASAP From: meaganrobison@hotmail.com Date posted: 1/6/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   We have lived here for almost 2 mos and while we have not had any problems with crime or management, we cannot stand the fact that when we first moved in our cabinents and dishwasher were infested with cockroaches... We were warned by our up stairs neighbors to watch out for scorpions as they had found 2 yet we never saw one UNTIL last night... Now that I am ultimately freaked out that a scorpion will burrow in the blankets in my bed (because Bark Scorpions crawl on not only the floors but ceilings too) they fall off the ceiling into your bed!!! So far we have only seen the one, which mind you was smaller than a quarter but regardless I do not want them in my home so as soon as this lease is up this summer we hope to god we will be getting on base housing. We have heard on base housing doesnt see any roaches or scorpions but they do see crickets, I would much rather WELCOME crickets in my home rather than come across poisonous scorpions and disgusting bacteria speading cockroaches. Oh and the sprayers that only come on wednesdays, do a HORRIBLE job. Please go to Home Depot and buy your own pump spray because thats the only way we got rid of the roaches and killed the scorpion on contact.
