I only moved in here because i had to find a place to live within a week so it was the first place that had any available apartments. They showed us a unit that was supposed to be just like ours, which it was the same set up, but it was clean and ours was not quite as well kept. After we moved in stains started popping up all over the carpet and it was not from us because i would wipe them up and they would reappear in the same spots i think it was from the padding or something. anyways we signed the lease and they gave us a discount on the first months rent, but a few days later they called us and told us that someone's credit was not good (there were four of us and wouldnt tell us which one) and we had to pay an extra 300 on the deposit which just so happened to be the exact amount they discounted for rent. we always dropped rent in the drop box and one month they waited 13 days to call us and tell us they did not receive the rent... the lady was so rude to me but we had paid rent... she told me they couldnt help it if the box was full and the wind blew our check out or something like that, but i know for a fact that it dropped down inside and the tiny flap was closed so there was no way it "blew away in the wind". they charged us an extra 250 for being late. we had to go get a money order and we did it within an hour which shows we had the money and were not just trying to skip out on rent. 8 months after we moved out i got a phone call from a collection agency saying that they are taking us to court for the amount owed to eastgate of 430. it was for cleaning fees even though they kept our $500 deposit... they will rip you off beyond belief!!!!! Gale in the office is so disrespectful and rude. there is no parking near you. our shower was leaking into the apartment downstairs and we were unable to use our shower for 4 days because it took them forever to get someone to fix it then another 24 hours after it was fixed because the stuff had to dry.
