I lived here for three years and it was a greta period of my life. Tons of students and a helpful manager. The laundry facilities and pool were always immaculate and maintainence was at your door whenever a problem arose. There was some riff raff at the apartment complex on the other side of the wall(name rhymes with flamelot), but Elmwood Village was a great place to be....in 1983. BONUS: My bedroom was right up against my neighbors bedroom, and due to thin walls, I used to get to hear them humping. When sitting in my living room, I used to get to hear my other neighbor practicing his lounge act. He would do an atrocious rendition of "Proud Mary" at the top of his lungs. Just beneath his apartment lived a woman rumored to be a black hooker. The rumor wasn't that she was black--she was--it was the hooker part I could not confirm(mainly because I didn't have the money).

ha ha hahahaha too funny.I lived here for a year and my neighbor was a chinese guy who I would hear get into his bathtub everynight for literally hours and you would hear swishing sounds and the sound of someone rubbing or twisting around in the tub.One nighbor came to the living room window with no shirt on,as I walked past from the mailbox and stuck his chest against the window and then slammed a package of ground beef against the window and smiled at me and yelled COME HERE. My other neighbor was overly friendly and kept telling me he was a retired porn star,then asked me if I needed some genital wart medication cause he had some leftover in his apt.LOVELY compled.The camalot apartments next door were a breeding ground for crime.Watched swat many nights go over there.Elmwood is your typical vegas fair.
