I'm very happy for the reviewer who enjoys her apartment. However, I currently live in this complex. And I have quite different feelings.
The maintance in our complex is not worthy of the $$ I'm paying. For example, today 6/1/03,I come home from work to discover that the Department of Health has closed all of our pools. This is particularly disturbing as my son was swimming in it only yesterday. In addition, very few people clean up after their dogs and maintance doesn't either. So,on a hot day it smells like steaming manure outside.
There is an adaquate amount of parking. However, the parking assignments are really aggravating. Nobody is assigned anywhere near their apartments so people use to "open" spaces. Thus, defeating the purpose of assigning parking.
Our mailroom has been vandalized on several occasions, requiring tenants to pick up their mail and the post office.
Speaking of crime, our car has been vandalized as well and my neighbor's car has been stolen TWICE.
We do see the police often. Sadly, most of the time it isn't because they are patrolling but because they are here on calls.
It is somewhat difficult to review the office personel as it keeps changing every couple of months. In the year and 1/2 that I have lived here we have had three different head managers. None of whom have managed to make a positive effect on the complex.
From one renter to another let me say, Do yourselves a favor, look elsewhere.
