Too little too late

My boyfriend and I have been living here since July 2004. We had heard about all of the shootings and we had dealt with yelling kids. Our leasing agent didn't even give us a walk thru. Our dishwasher doesn't clean and our cold water turner on the kitchen sink doesn't work. So when new mgmt took over in July 2005 we figured there would be positive changes. Boy were we wrong! The new mgmt started by raising our rent up we started at 765 and it went up to 810. We got our parking spot taken away in September 2005. So my boyfriend and I were forced to park in uncovered parking. He was the lucky one. I got home later so I was forced to park on the other side of the complex, hardly the ideal walking situation at night, so I bought some pepper spray and hoped for the best. As for that renovation we had to deal with dust and dirt everywhere having our water turned off for hours at a time without notice sometimes, people coming onto our patio to paint and to top it all off we had to deal with the rudest girl ever. Well we just now got assigned parking on January 13, and I don't know if the rude girl is still there and the kids are gone. But it's too little too late because for 4 months I have had to do the pepper spray run because the mgmt is too incompetent to realize they made a mistake concerning the parking. Now they want to raise the rent another $40 and they added on sewer and water charges too. And of course the new mgmt wants to blame everything on the old mgmt. Well last I checked the new mgmt is raising the rent so they should attempt to accomodate the tenants. Hardly the service we expected for being loyal to this complex for more than a year. You can live in a much better neighborhood for the obscene price!

A quick heads up. Cayman Bay is going before the City of Las Vegas Planning Commission on 1/26/06 to request approval to convert the complex to condominiums.
