My husband and I have lived at Estancia for 4 years now and the first 3.5 years were great which is why we stayed for so long. This new management and maintenance team is awful. First it is noisy. There are skateboarders, (which is supposedly not allowed) at all hours. Random people jump the gate and surrounding walls walking around. The landscapers start at 7 in the morning and are often times just outside the window for 30 minutes or longer. Our cars have been vandalized twice here in the past two months. Maintenance does not show up when they say they will and they seem like ex-cons. They're lazy and seem to take the easy way out of fixing problems. The staff does not return calls promptly, if at all. Their follow up is non existent. Their new "security" comes and hangs out in the parking lot often chatting with their gangster friends who visit or it is an old man who does not make me feel safe at all. Parking is outrageous with all kinds of unauthorized cars in the lot sneaking in behind you at the gate. Just for the record, we are a quiet couple in our 30's whom have never paid rent a day late or have any reason to lie. Our file is clean of complaints or problems against us. So please choose wisely when renting an apartment.

Someone just told me about this website so I thought I would check it out. I just read this review and I completely disagree with you. I have lived here since 2002, I have even transferred from a 1 bedroom to a 2. The current management team is wonderful, always quick to respond and very very friendly. Maintenance has always repaired my problems in a timely manner (however last time I called they informed me they were backed up with heater calls and were running a little behind) can't blame them for the weather. The "old man" had been wonderful. While getting my mail I've seen him chase several cars away that were waiting to get in the gate. He also chased away a group of teenagers that were walking into the complex. My car has never been vandalized in this complex, but it has in other areas of town over 8 times. My sister lives in a gaurd gated community in Summerlin, and her car was stolen out of her driveway. This is Las Vegas after all, and this is part of the reason why insurance rates are so high in this town. Sorry for rambling, but I'm bored and couldn't beleive what I was reading.

I have been here since 11/08. I have not had any problems as of yet, except waiting for maintenance to show up when they say they will. Other than that everything so far has been ok. Hope it stays that way.
