Me and my husband moved into these apartments in december 2006. Everything seemed really nice until a water line broke right outside our bedroom window. We never knew whether or not we would have water from one day to the next and it definately made having a newborn a lot harder and inconvenienced than it should have been.when we first moved in there was free cable, water and maintenance repairs. Then all the sudden they started charging for all of these. Who wants to pay for water they dont get''' And as far as crime goes... Sure its Vegas, i know there's crime here but the apartment across the street are ridiculous. There are drug dealers, gangs, theives, shootings... The Police are over there at least three times a day EVERY day! Our car was broken into at least twice a month, every month and the management did nothing. Let alone the people that were trying to break into our apartment. I had a young baby and pregnant with my 2nd and I felt so unsafe that i bought my own can of pepper spray to keep on my key chain so i would have a source of protection. We ended up breaking our lease to get out of there. We didnt want to raise our kids in that environment AT ALL!! and when we broke our lease they said we owed $795.00 and then we get a call from a collection agency that said we owed $1,600.00 Would somebody PLEASE explain to me how this is possible' I will not pay those inconsiderate people.
Next time you see osama bin laden tell him to blow up a building that know one would care about, the Evergreen Apartments. I'm sure nobody would miss this place!
