Don't live here!!! I am a traveling nurse and my company placed me here for my assignment.I demanded to be moved within the first week.
My unit was on the ground floor (which makes no difference because anyone could climb through your window no matter where you lived.) I was approached in the laundry room by a very creepy individual....who also allowed his child to jump all over the washers and dryers while they were in use.
I was also "approached" by someone who was using the hot tub who wanted to "sell" me something.
I left an old cheap pair of dirty tennis shoes outside my door one afternoon and they were taken.
I was in fear of my personal safety and for my vehicle.
I was afraid that I would find it on blocks one day.
My coworkers gave me the 411 on the location stating that it was the "gun and knife club" of Las Vegas....or one of them at least.
There was an abundant supply of homeless people and beggars lying on the bus stop benches and wandering around the complex.
There was a security gaurd who would walk around at night , but the complex is just too big for one person to patrol.
I did not feel safe here, the apartment unit was filthy, the hot water was COLD.
I would not recommend this unit to anyone.

lol @ the property company making excuses. 25 bucks off your rent for 2 full days of no hot water? this place is a dump and the "management" company are slum lords. the thing that gets me is that they tried to charge such an outragous price for a very bad area ($800??? are you kidding me?). we saw nicer places for less money down the street near flamingo, and other areas near tropicana and places near the strip on Paradise. the excuse that b/c it is close to the strip is complete BS, of course there are problems near the strip, but a property should do more to keep that away from their tenants. one patrol person making min wage is not very protective. yes it is in a bad area (it is reffered to as the "upscale ghetto"), but these slum managment companies could change this mentality if they wanted to by adding more security. they are on the front line here, but they choose to do nothing & save money by using a minimal security staff. the condescending tone of JS Properties just shows you how stand-offish they are with regards to saftey in this complex. personally, i was treated like dirt for asking questions while looking for an apt. if asking questions is an issue for JS Properties and their reps, then more power to you. just remember, one day you may be the victim when you have to go to the property. i hope the saftey issues dont affect you, for your sake, but if they did, you would see what a slum this is. im glad i didnt take the apt or deal with your rep beyond a 20 min talk at the complex. they were completely rude at every question i asked about.
