I must admit being surprised by the other reviews of the Flamingo Polo Club Apartments.
I was housed in these apartments by my corporation while on a temporary job assignment in Las Vegas. Upon arrival the carpets were so saturated that my tennis shoes became wet, and you could hear the water squishing under my soles, and the odor from the wet carpet was obnoxious. Then, the carpet was old, stained, and ugly. Also, there were "cuts" all over the counter in the kitchen (of which there was some mention of in my move out survey, even though I had listed all these problems on on my move-in survey) The washer never did wring the water out of all the clothes, despite several calls for a repair. One man came and pronounced it "fixed" and there was absolutely no difference. And the guy who gunned his motorcycle engine ( with no muffler) was no fun either!! The water leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom was a real blast!! These apartments were very poorly maintained, and many problems had been covered up with "temporary" fixes to make them seem fixed. The thermostats on the walls, fell off, and were literally broken in half. Also, the area is not at all safe, despite the other reviews. Just go on line and check it out yourself, and see some police reports and newspaper articles on events that happened close to the apartments address and or in the surrounding area. I promise, you would not take your children there after reading these.
And last but not least, the roaches, well, despite several sprays by the management, they persisted. The grounds looked ok, but my apartment was poorly maintained, and I really did not feel there was an adequate response to my complaints. I have been in many apartments, and never had these kinds of problems before.
These apartments are so bad, that I did not do any further work with the company that housed me here.
These other reviews dont make sense, as others I talked with who lived there had similar complaints. Hmmmmm!! possibly they have a vested interested in the complex. Otherwise it makes no sense.
